Hi there! I’m Samantha Pace, the creator, designer, and fiber enthusiast behind Yarn Valley.

Yarn Valley was born from my desire to create a modern, aesthetic sanctuary for makers who value the “slow-made” movement.
My Journey with the Hook
While I appreciate all forms of textile art, crochet is my first love and my true expertise. I started my journey years ago, fascinated by how a simple hook and a loop could create such intricate textures. Over the years, I have transitioned from following patterns to designing my own digital crochet patterns, focusing on clean lines, modern silhouettes, and “crochet-that-looks-like-knit” aesthetics.
At Yarn Valley, my mission is to take the “mystery” out of complex stitches. Whether I’m designing a cozy oversized cardigan or a delicate home decor piece, I prioritize clarity, accessibility, and style in every pattern I release.

While my heart belongs to crochet, my hands are rarely still. I believe that being a well-rounded “fiber artist” means exploring every way a thread can be manipulated.
- Knitting: I am deeply inspired by the drape and delicacy of knitwear. You will often see me incorporating knitting techniques or “knit-look” textures into my crochet designs to give them a premium, boutique finish.
- Embroidery & Beyond: To add that final touch of personality, I love exploring hand embroidery. Adding floral embellishments to a finished crochet piece or experimenting with punch needles allows me to bring a mixed-media approach to the handmade world.
